Melanie

President

Melanie Hudson majors in Management and Marketing and she is working on a minor in Public Relations. My expected graduation date is May 2018. I have been a member of Women in Business since Spring 2015. My favorite color is lime green and I don’t like tea. My favorite Women in Business events are the potluck and the discussion panel.

Desirea Wright

VP of Finance & Fundraising

Desirea Wright am currently a senior double majoring in economics and general business with a certificate in finance. She is from Mansfield, Texas and she loves to cook. She likes to play sports, helping others, being with family, and putting all my effort into my schoolwork. In 10 years, I see myself working as a project manager at a major company.

The reason why she joined women in business is because she feel that women are underrepresented in the corporate world and with women in business it gives women the confidence to showcase their strengths in the corporate world dominated by men. Women in Business is about empowering women and letting them know that they can do anything a man does.. Just in heels.
