Dr. Shoukfeh
Faculty Advisor
Suzanne Shoukfeh is currently an Assistant Professor of Practice in Accounting at the Rawls College of Business. She received her Bachelor in Accounting from the University of Houston, Master of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration with a major concentration in Finance and two minor concentrations in Economics and Quantitative Analysis. She has been CPA certified since 2011.
Suzanne began her career at Texas Tech Rawls College of Business teaching Audit to undergraduate accounting students and she currently teaches Intermediate Accounting 1 and 2.She feels that teaching Intermediate Accounting is the role she was born to do, as it blends her love of both Accounting and Finance. She believes strongly that academia can change lives for the better and works very hard to ensure that all her students feel included in her class and capable of learning difficult concepts. Her current research efforts focus on serving historically underserved communities in academia.
In her free time, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her two children, her husband and partner in life, and friends and family. They love playing sports and board games, painting, reading, and watching movies.
